As of Friday, the Southeast Kansas Multi County Health Department has given one shy of 2,500 H1N1 vaccinations to area residents. Injections were preferred to nasal vaccine by almost three to one. Almost 1,000 vaccinations were provided to youth between 5 and 18 years of age.
Vaccinations are still available at the health department for those who have not yet received them. Call 365-2191 for more information.
